Tour consists of 4 days of riding. The tour is guided and accommodation is in high quality rural hotels for 5 nights and with great breakfast included. Overnight stays are in Luso, Tondela, São Pedro do Sul and Sever do Vouga area. Tour start and end is planned in Luso area, we have approximately 60-70 km to bike daily.
This tour is available as guided with bag transfer or guided bike-packing tour, get your quote.
True Caramulo tour is suitable for moderate fitness level considering daily climbing.

We can arrange bike hire and also transfer from airport or other cities when needed.

Day 1
arriving to Luso in the afternoon, check-in to the hotel and setting up bikes for the tour
Day 2
ride from Luso to Tondela. Highlight of the day is gorgeous Bussaco palace and awesome single tracks leading deeper into the mountain. We have a nice waterfall hidden in the mountain and many small mountain villages on the way until we arrive to Tondela to relax.
Day 3
ride from Tondela to São Pedro do Sul. On this day we conquer the highest point of Caramulo mountain, the Caramulinho. Magical views to the ocean side and to Serra da Estrela on the other. Many roman roads and small stone villages and lots of fun on the trails. Until we arrive to thermal water resort Termas de São Pedro do Sul to relax.
Day 4
ride from São Pedro do Sul to Sever do Vouga. Another gorgeous day on the mountain bike, many fun trails, small stone villages, also a beautiful town of Vouzela on our way. The highlight of the day is a lake Lapa de Meruge up on the mountain. Total serenity! To spin out the legs after nice mountain day we have few kilometers on old railway until we arrive to our accommodation in Sever do Vouga.
Day 5
ride from Sever do Vouga to Luso. We head into the mountain again, this day with smaller climbs, yet still with beautiful views. We pass villages in schist stone, which is significantly different from the first side of the mountain we passed on our tour. Our tour continues until Luso the thermal spa town, where you can enjoy different water procedures if wished.
Day 6
farewell from Luso. Transfer to airport if selected, bike return.
