Aveiro region tour
Our tour shows the different sides of Aveiro region.
From the region´s capital we head by the seaside trails into the rural areas with rice fields. Head into the forest and discover hidden old mines in ruins. We stop at blueberry capital to taste some delicious pastries. Then have some challenging climbs with fantastic views, pass remote villages in schist stone deep in the eucalyptus forest and arrive to colorful umbrella streets in Águeda. From the mountain side we descend into the vineyards area. Beautiful spa town and sparkling wine capital on our way back to Aveiro.
The route consists of cycle paths, dirt roads and tarmac roads.

Total of around 195km, with 3 stops - Aveiro,
Sever do Vouga and Águeda.

Tour is available as guided with bag transfer or guided bike-packing tour.

Day 1 -
arriving to Aveiro, (optional transfer from airport to hotel), check-in and setting up the bikes for the tour. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2 -
bike day from Aveiro to Sever do Vouga area. Day totals 58 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3 -
bike day from Sever do Vouga to Águeda. Day totals 58 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4 -
bike day from Águeda to Aveiro. Day totals 75 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving back to initial hotel in Aveiro. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5 -
farewell from Aveiro, (optional transfer to airport).
